Mid-term exams to commence from 9 July at Bayan College

Muscat: Summer semester examinations will commence at Bayan College starting next week by the 9^th of July. The exams will be held for both academic and foundation students and will last for about four days.

Preparations have started by both the students and faculty members for the exams, students are busy studying and the teachers are setting up exam papers and making overall arrangements for the smooth flow of exams.

Bayan students have mixed opinions of the exams, some are very positive about them and he others a little nervous. “It is not easy to get high marks before studying hard, so, I’m preparing from now” says Rajwa Al Azri, a student at the college.

However, students like Abdulla Al Harrasi are a little stressed out, “I am getting nervous from now on because I have a couple of assignments to finish and only then can I start my studies for the upcoming exams."

Students have been warned about not getting low grades in the exams. If their mid terms exams go low, they will have to suffer it in the final GPA. This is why students are encouraged to do well in all their classes.

"Find a way to motivate yourself and be interested, study hard for the exams and wish you all the luck for the same." says Ms. Roberta Bianchi, art and design teacher at the college.

The grades of mid-term exam will be from 20 percent till 40 percent. After the mid-term period the student will complete study and strive for their studies’ fruit until they giving their final exams.
